The next Senior Licence Coaching Course is be held at Memorial Park Corrimal on 11/12/18 February 2012. Cost for the course is $175.
As you are all aware it is mandatory for all Coaches at Premier League Clubs to have a Senior Licence accreditation to carry out their coaching duties.
Whilst it is not mandatory at this point for District League Coaches to have a Senior Licence we encourage and recommend all prospective coaches at this level to obtain their accreditation asap.

Football South Coast is conducting a Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate and Licence Course in February 2012.
The course is split into two days with the Certificate part taking place on Saturday 25th and the Licence session on Sunday 26th.
It should be noted that you must have completed the certificate session before undertaking the Licence.

Highlands Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of former Socceroo George Kulcsar to the first grade coaching position for 2012.

George’s stellar career includes playing for the Socceroos, in Belgium for Royal Antwerp, in England for Bradford City and Queens Park Rangers and in Singapore for Home United. He also played for the AIS, Canberra City and St George Saints in Australia.

James Braid of Highlands Football Club was awarded the Football South Coast - People Care District League – Best & Fairest award 2012. It is a fantastic achievement for James & a proud highlight for the Club in only its third season. James was a standout player all season for the Highlands FC First Grade team. The aggregated Best & Fairest award points from each game had James leading the contenders group from the season kick-off through to the final third of the season when aggregate points are no longer published.

Hello to all Moustache Growers, Owners and Wannabes
November is Movember; the annual opportunity for all XY chromosome carriers to promote awareness of Prostate Cancer and Depression and support this noble cause through fund raising.
The Highlands Soccer Association together with member Clubs agreed to support Movember in 2011 through not only Mo growing and fund raising but also a Football Tournament with a twist, Mo Awards, Mo Party, BBQ and great shave off (unless you choose to keep it) at the end of November.

The HSA & HFC Presentation Dinner will be held on Saturday 29th October 6pm at Moss Vale Ex Services Club.

This information is for players and their parents interested in trialling for selection in the Highlands FC 2012
junior squads which compete in the Football South Coast (Illawarra) First Division competition.

Players must attend at least two trial sessions (exceptions only with prior approval of Director of Coaching
& Development – Nick D’Amore).
