This information is for players and their parents interested in trialling for selection in the Highlands FC 2012
junior squads which compete in the Football South Coast (Illawarra) First Division competition.

Players must attend at least two trial sessions (exceptions only with prior approval of Director of Coaching
& Development – Nick D’Amore).

Players must arrive 30 minutes prior to start times to receive information and get ready for trials per:
Boys U13, U14, U15 & U16 squads:
* Sun 9th Oct: 10.00am – 11.30am
* Sun 16th Oct: 10.00am – 11.30am
Boys U13 & U14 squads:
* Tue 11th October: 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Boys U15 & U16 squads:
* Thur 13th October: 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Boys U14, U15 & U16 squads:
* Sun 23rd Oct: 10.00am – 11.30am
Venue: Church Road playing fields, Moss Vale.
Note: trials schedule may change & additional trial dates to the above will held if required.

  • All trialing players must complete a nomination form at the trial registration desk before trialing.
  • Selected players will receive a travel polo, jacket, bag, socks before the 2012 season start.
  • Jackets etc are supplied per two seasons linked to a two year budget cycle and associated apparel supply contracts.
  • Players will be required purchase their own plain black dress shoes and plain black pants.
  • Players are required to wear the ‘HFC travel apparrel’ consisting of HFC polo shirt, HFC jacket, black shoes & pants to & from all matches & specified official functions. i.e. Players are required to change back into the’ HFC travel apparel’ after matches and before leaving change rooms.
  • Players are required to attend several official functions per year which will be advised accordingly.
  • Player parents will be rostered for field set-up, canteen, BBQ, field pack-up duty routinely throughout the season including pre-season trial matches for junior/senior matches
  • Players & parents will be required to attend a player registration session - signing of Player Agreements & apparel fitting session Wednesday 14th December 2011 – details to be advised.
  • Player fees will be $450 incl GST total per player all junior grades with $250 payable 14th December 2011 followed by a second & final payment of $150 by Friday 2nd March 2012. Payment plans can be discussed in advance of the first payment being due.
  • Players will not be considered for final squad selection until after all registration requirements and registration fee is paid.
  • Players are required to be available for a team camp for two (2) days during the second week of the April 2012 school holidays with Rangers FC (16th – 20th April 2012). Details to be confirmed.
  • Players will also represent HSA at the Southern NSW Football Branch C’ships in 2012 (subject to final comp structure advice). Winning Branch C’Ship teams also participate in the state country cup in June 2012, optionally in the Kanga Cup in the July school holidays and provisionally the Football NSW Champions of Champions knock-out tournament which commences in September 2012.
